Customer comments on this selection. Set of gifts not a gift setThis is great for someone who wants the books individually, but not as a set. The books come with envelopes to give them away individually and are not really meant to stay in the binder. The binder is not a box where the books fit together side by side, but is long and narrow with the books in sleaves like a picture book.  Buyer BewareYou might think it is incredible to think you might get all these books for the $11 price but I had a catalog that would get me six for $6. I thought Amazon had a deal and therefore could sell them cheaply. Getting SIX books for $11 was not a good deal for me when I should have ordered them for half the price! When I went to return them UPS would charge me $9. So I'm stuck with the books! The books are good but for this price I could have bought my 6 favorite ones! I certainly don't need the overly large book storage case. Little Miss Gift SetI bought this set for my 6 year old daughter after she talked and talked about the Little Miss and Mister books that her kindergarten teacher read to their class. She enjoys them and asks for them to be re-read to her. They are a quick read and can be used to teach lessons about behavior.  Little Miss Gift SetThe gift set of Little Miss books are great for small children. They too teach manners and social interaction. Plus, the books are entertaining for children. Both the Mr. Men Gift Set and the Little Miss Gift set make nice gifts for welcoming babies. Nice gift.I ordered two of these gift boxes, one for the birthday girl and the other to give away in the party goody bags. The cardboard binders are still being played with even though there are no longer books in it. Although one did get banged up during shipping. I thought this was a great value for 6 books and envelopes. |
